We use individual training aids for each of our participants. You will have your own mannikins and training equipment.
Smaller class sizes and the supply personal protective equipment including hand sanitiser, gloves and face shields adds to the safe delivery of courses. This provides you with confidence that all aspects of infection control are observed.

After enrolling, students will have access to Training Desk! After logging in, the dashboard allows easy access to their own profile, course details, current and past certificates.
Blended
Online learning prior to the face to face training and assessment. This delivery method suits all learner styles with all topics and assessment requirements covered in the face to face session.
Online Training with Face to Face Assessment – Enhanced online (EOL)
This delivery mode suits returning students who are efficient in online learning. All the theory components of learning and assessment is completed online through the Training Desk learning platform (see below). A short face to face practical assessment completes the course requirements.
Face to Face
All elements of the training and assessment are delivered face to face. The duration of the training is the longest in this delivery mode and allows maximum opportunity for student and trainer interactions.
Refresher
To enable this delivery mode students need to hold a current certificate in the course being delivered. It involves blended delivery with face to face training and assessment. No pre course work is required.
A training delivery mode that enables students to enrol online and complete self paced theory and assessment online. A shortened face to face practical assessment demonstrating skills completes your training requirements.
If the unit of competency requires you to perform 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on a manikin placed on the floor we can provide you with aids to assist you lowering and standing such as a chair, cushion under your knees, completing the assessment privately and allowing extra time. If you are unable to complete the assessment task a certificate cannot be issued. To obtain the nationally recognised certificate the task must be performed.
The Student Handbook provides you with details on governance and legislation, student code of conduct, student misconduct & disciplinary procedures, course information including enrolment, USI, course delivery, fees and payments, refund and cancellation policy, WHS, privacy policy, complaints and appeals, training and assessment information and students services and support.
After your enrolment you will receive an email inviting you to register at Training Desk platform. You will then proceed to your newly enrolled coursework. If at any time you encounter problems contact us for assistance.

Pre course work should be completed prior to the day of training. If you don’t complete it you may have some difficulty with the content and may not be able to be issued a certificate.
There is no minimum age, however it is recommended that students should be over 14 years of age. Please contact our team if you are considering enrolling a child under 18 years of age.
If you have completed all the requirements of your training you will receive an electronic Statement of Attainment from Allens Training Pty Ltd RTO #90909 usually within 48 hours. If your certificate is urgent or your require a hard copy please contact us to arrange.

It’s important to acknowledge that there is a physical requirement to complete 2 minutes of CPR on the floor with an adult resuscitation manikin and 2 minutes of CPR on a firm surface with an infant resuscitation manikin.
